Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager when she was in her teens. Her acting career began at age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. Her acting journey began as an actress in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. Her debut film, "Friday", was launched in the year 1995 at the age of 13. First gaining attention in 1997 with her performance as Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) in Eve's Bayou, for which she won two nominations and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was a small part of TV and film shows over the next few years. Then, in the beginning of 2000s she started taking part in roles that were more mature. Her Nickelodeon television show, Cousins Skeeter included her in the role of Nina. Her role was as Nina on the Nickelodeon T.V. show Cousin Skeeter, from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she had small parts on the films House Party, Down to the Very last Minute and 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, a action comedy film that earned the actress nominated as Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. She then appeared in films such as You Got Served the Cookout as well as Venom One Missed, call Waist Deep, as well as The Love Guru. After a busy 2012 on T.V. She played Mya, a multi-star in Think Like a Man as in the character Ms. Stevens for Dysfunctional friends. Kara Killmer, who had appeared in a number of local productions before making her first appearance on the screen in the year 2010, starred part of Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The Hulu series If I Can Dream is centered about the life of a bunch of performers who reside on the streets of Hollywood California.
