Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and musician, who is mostly in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah has an Anglo-Indian family background. She was the daughter of a Madras High Court attorney. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah lived near Chennai she was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also an avid geek. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she joined when she was 10, was her foundation to sing and compose music. She was also a theatre student at her school and was a part of several productions staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was president of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. Andrea was picked for the part after Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were approached by producers.
