Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28, 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Wuhrer started her acting career when she was as a teenager. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. When she was young She sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. At the Wooster school at the age of 13 and began to study drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known teacher Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was born in Brookfield on April 28, 1967. She is the daughter of the father of a German American as well as a mother from Germany. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. The singer was in nightclubs when she was a teenager sneaking out of her home to perform. In the year she turned 13 old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. Later, she enrolled in drama studies at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Kari started acting when she was still a teenager. Kari got her debut big appearance in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
