Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa was a leader singer of the metalcore Canadian group The Agonist. She currently sings with the Swedish melodic-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa (born 30 July 1985) White-Gluz is an Canadian singer-songwriter, well famous for her role as the former vocalist and lead singer of the Canadian metalcore band The Agonist and the current lead singer of Swedish popular Death Metal group Arch Enemy. She sings using smooth and grizzly vocals. She is mainly associated with metalcore and melodic death, however she has performed in bands such as Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. Agonist (2004-2014) Agonist (2004-2014) In the year 2004, White-Gluz formed the Agonist (then called "Tempest") alongside fellow band members Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They released three albums together with the band as their main vocalist.White-Gluz left the Agonist in the spring of 2014 after being offered the vocalist position for Arch Enemy.
